I have looked through and tested several applications that claim to be able to teach you various languages and well. I must say after using the different products on the market I haven’t been too thrilled. However that being said I did find 101 to really be something special. The thing about products that claim to do many things are rarely good at being great at something. Therefore 101 met my expectations head on. On the initial inspection of 101 I must say I was quite pleased. It definitely delivered when it said it had that many languages to delve into. Again I said previously the amount that you learn of each language is definitely limited. There is only enough room for so many phrases, words etc. However they do cover the basics that you may need for various simple questions and requests. 

Therefore it is strongly recommended if you use this software to make sure that you track your own progress so you know what you have covered already. Perhaps one of the more notable things about 101 is it’s speech recognition software. 

It happens to be so good that It can actually pick up your pronunciation of the phrases or words you are saying to let you know whether or not you are really saying them correctly. This is an amazing feature especially for the average beginner since that happens to be one of the hardest things to pick up when learning a language. 

All in all after doing my 101 Languages of the World review I was quite impressed with a product like this one. I would recommend it to anyone that is just starting out with their language of choice.
